Chrome Extension & Approve & Post

The Replyt Chrome Extension lets you review, approve, and post queued replies directly from your browser — no copy-pasting required.

Overview

The standard reply workflow in Replyt is: generate → copy → open Reddit → paste → post. The Chrome Extension adds a second, faster path: generate → add to queue → open Extension → post with one click.

The Extension is especially useful when you have multiple replies queued across different threads. Instead of opening each thread manually, the Extension presents each queued reply one at a time and lets you post it directly.

The Approve & Post queue

When you generate a reply on the Threads page, you'll see a + Approve & Post button below the reply text. Clicking it adds the reply to the queue.

  • You can queue replies from multiple threads and projects
  • The queue page is at Projects → [Project] → Approve & Post
  • Queued replies show their thread title, subreddit, and reply text
  • You can remove a reply from the queue without posting it
💡The queue is a staging area — nothing gets posted automatically. Every reply in the queue requires your explicit approval in the Extension before it goes live.

Adding a reply to the queue

Step-by-step from the Threads page:

1Open a thread from your Threads inbox.
2Click Generate reply (or write one manually).
3Review the draft — edit if needed.
4Click + Approve & Post to add it to the queue.
5The button changes to "✓ Added to Approve & Post" with a link to the queue page.

Using the Chrome Extension

Once you have replies in the queue, open the Replyt Chrome Extension from your browser toolbar. The Extension shows:

  • The thread title and subreddit for the current queued reply
  • The full reply text, ready to post
  • A Post reply button that opens the Reddit thread and pastes the reply
  • A skip option to move to the next queued reply without posting
The Extension is required to post from the queue. Without it, you can still use the standard copy-paste workflow — the Extension just makes batch posting faster and less error-prone.

Auto-send and session modes

The Extension can run an auto-send session that works through your queue for you. It opens each item, opens Reddit's own compose window, injects the text, and the flow submits. It runs in two modes:

  • Public replies — works through your queued Reddit comment replies one at a time.
  • DM outreach — works through your queued DM openers from Lead Generation.

The Extension never bypasses Reddit. It opens Reddit's native compose window and injects the text into it, so your normal Reddit session, rate limits, and account rules all still apply. Manual control is preserved at every step.

DM auto-send pacing and safety

DMs carry a higher ban risk than public replies, so the Extension paces them more conservatively. Public replies use a default 3 minute delay between posts. DMs use a longer 5 minute default delay between sends.

DM auto-send also respects your remaining daily DM cap (10 per day). It hard-stops once you reach the cap and will not exceed it even if more openers are queued. If the cap is already reached for the day, a DM session refuses to start. This protects your account from Reddit spam flags.

Pacing and the daily cap are there to keep your account safe. Sending too many DMs too quickly is the fastest way to get flagged by Reddit. Let the session run at its own pace rather than forcing it.

For details on how DM openers are generated, consent-gated, and queued, see the Lead Generation docs.

Copy & open Reddit (no Extension needed)

You don't need the Extension to reply. The standard flow uses the Copy & open Reddit button on the thread detail panel:

  • Copies the reply text to your clipboard
  • Opens the original Reddit thread in a new tab
  • Marks the mention as "Replied" in Replyt automatically

After the thread opens, paste the reply into the Reddit comment box and submit. Replyt will start tracking traffic from that thread immediately.

Installing the Extension

The Replyt Chrome Extension is available on the Chrome Web Store. Search for "Replyt" or install it directly from the link on your Dashboard → Queue page.

After installing, connect it to your account with a one-time token from the app. The token links the Extension to your account so it can read your queue from the server — any replies or DM openers you add from the web app appear in the Extension.

The Extension requires Chrome or any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox is not supported at this time.
💡The current Extension version is 1.0.10. Keep the Extension updated so you always have the latest pacing and safety protections for auto-send.
